Both of Kathy's parents are dead. Mum died in 1995 and Dad in 1997. Her sister Jenny, two years older than her, lives on her own in her bungalow in Bewdley and is a retired Occupational Therapist,  a District Councillor for Wyre Forest DC and until 2011 Deputy District Commissioner in the Scouts. She's been invaluable in pointing Rol in the right direction when his feet needed attention! Jenny has ensured that we get to see at least one Shakespeare play a year by organising tickets for the Ludlow Festival.  Jenny XmaS 04

"Betty" as she is known has been a widow since 1976. From 1969 to 1973 her husband Roland had been Vicar of Burneside near Kendal until the Malayan "Emergency" (where he served with the Worcestershire Regiment) of 1950 finally caught up with him. Betty is amazingly  active and a stalwart of the local church. She enjoys playing descant recorder.  A brilliant cook, she learned the art of curry making in India where she lived as a teenager. Kate Stelfox, was married to Andy Stelfox. Andy died at the end of April 2011 after a long illness. He was much loved by everyone and though so sadly missed was given a lovely "send off" when we celebrated his life in Ings Church, near Windermere.
Kate and Andy have two children, Emily  and John. Kate, after 6 years of hard slog,  gained her OU Honours Degree (2.1) at the Bridgewater Hall Manchester on June 11th 2004.  She is a Councellor for CADAS.  Andy did complicated things with wiring and computers and was a great champion for Wildlife. John persued  Environmental Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University from September 2005 and is currently employed in Manchester with the Co-op. Emily completed her degree in 2004 and subsequently  trained as a Primary School teacher, being now past the "Newly Qualified" stage and is now teaching near Manchester.
