Kowloon Park, where Rol had a pleasant solitary mid morning stroll, was built on an the site of an old army barracks and is a welcome oasis of green and calm amidst the bustle of the city. Several parties of school children were visiting, and were clearly delighted to be in the open space as non of the schools we saw had any access to a playground.
